About Me.

I never thought of myself as an artist but people throughout my life have called me one. And when I look back at what I’ve done, and I have done many things, every one of them have had an artistic aspect to it.

I started out working on cars and bikes doing paint and custom bodywork. My first ever build was on a motorcycle. I added a scallop to the tank, made a hand engraved leather seat and a custom paint job. The start of my artistic career.

Automotive customs were my world for many years. I moved to the interiors of cars adding very high-end stereos, upholstery and custom builds. My stereo installs where so artistically designed that they where a piece of art in and of themselves.

Next up graphic design. I started doing small things for people and wound up designing and publishing my own magazine. I then started building websites which lasted 20 years.

For the first few years building sites was enjoyable, I was being creative. It however led me into programming which just sapped the artist out of me, but I was stuck. Then I got very ill, I was dying. I spent a lot of 2016/2017 in the hospital but thanks to a new liver, I am still here. I am a very lucky man.

Having lost my web business I decided that it was a good thing. It was killing me, albeit slower than my liver. Around May of 2018 I knew I had to find some- thing that would get my creativity back, I needed to enjoy working again, it had been a long time. Enter wood, resin and paint. I look forward every day to designing something new, every day is a new creative experience.

My curiosity with art lies in creating something new, something different. I tend to see objects as shapes and I am always trying new ideas, new materials, new designs.

I hope you enjoy my work so far, it is all a work in progress. I am happy to be alive and creating.
