The most asked question I get is how I come up with my designs and art - I just see it and that is how it's always been. For instance when I was custom painting vehicles (see below) I would look at the car, van or boat and it would tell me what it needed. Now, I look at an object or start to design in Adobe Illustrator and a design or idea comes to mind. I then sit down with it and start, whether it's starting a pour (resin) or in many cases, in Illustrator and it comes to me. Using Illustrator I then transfer to a working piece. More often than not, the design will change as I am working on it. Frequently when a piece is done or I thought is was done, I see when a change would enhance the object and I change it. One of my problems is knowing when to stop.

An example it the Orange Sculpture was totally different. It started life as slivers of orange pieces encased completely in a resin block. Four changes later it was totally a different piece.
